GameCrafter and KISS Ltd., recently announced that Projekt Nimbus, the third-person, anime-mech shooter, has officially (and finally) graduated from Early Access and is now currently available in its final and full form on Steam for $14.99. During the first week of being on sale the game is marked down by 25% off, so you can get it for only $11.24.
The game originally came out way back in 2013, where the developers attempted to gather crowdfunding from backers via Kickstarter. Eventually the game went into pre-alpha testing during early 2014, and it’s been moving through the Early Access phase slowly toward release up until this past September.
Now that the game is finally complete and is feature rich, gamers can pick up a digital copy from over on the Parní store.
The single-player mech action game sees players utilizing BattleFrames in a post-apocalyptic world where humans are fighting for the scraps of survival and the last remaining resources available on the planet. You can check out the trailer below to see what the gameplay is like.

The indie-made game has been a passion project for the team, featuring ground-based combat, aerial combat, and projectile-based combat.

To be an Unreal Engine 3 game it sure doesn’t look like something cooked up out of the basement of a couple of dreamers in Japan.
I’m also completely shocked that this is a single-player game. Then again, this is made by a studio who had a vision and wasn’t trying to focus group test their title into oblivion, so that’s probably why it actually feels like a real game and not a churned-out factory disasterpiece.
